The Sauerland is a peaceful wellness destination all year round. In spring and summer (April through September), you can enjoy our outdoor pool and the natural surroundings of Hallenberg to the fullest—and take advantage of seasonal discounts of up to 20% during this time. In fall and winter, the focus shifts to the interior of our hotel: the columned bath, saunas, snow grotto, and fireplace lounge. Many guests spend their days doing whatever they please—at the spa, in their rooms, or outdoors in nature. That’s why we don’t offer a lunch buffet or the “three-quarter board” plan—with its strictly scheduled meals—that’s common at wellness hotels. Instead, we offer an afternoon snack menu from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: freshly prepared, ordered according to your appetite. In the evening, a four-course meal awaits you at your table.

The high season includes October, November, and January through March—with demand clearly concentrated on weekends, which are often booked up early; our standard “Overnight Stay with Half Board” rate is the focus here. Midweek remains the quietest time at our hotel even during these months—with noticeably lower prices. As a rule, our packages include overnight accommodations with half-board—featuring a late-riser breakfast and a four-course dinner—as well as our included services.
