The Sauerland is a peaceful wellness destination all year round. In spring and summer (April through September), you can fully enjoy our outdoor pool and the natural surroundings of Hallenberg—and take advantage of seasonal discounts of up to 20% during this time. In fall and winter, the focus shifts to the interior of our hotel: the columned bath, the sauna world, and the fireplace lounge. The Advent season combines both—a wintery atmosphere with attractive price discounts outside of the Christmas holidays.

We have two suggestions for couples: “You and Me,” which includes a soak in the light-bubble massage tub and a body wrap on the floating lounger, and “Break the Routine,” for a longer shared retreat featuring two treatments. We deliberately do not offer 3/4 board or a lunch buffet. Many guests spend their days flexibly—in the wellness area, in their rooms, or outdoors in nature. A fixed lunch menu would therefore often go unused and lead to avoidable food waste. Instead, we prepare all meals fresh and individually. This allows us to guarantee the best quality while operating sustainably and responsibly without having to raise prices unnecessarily.

The high season runs from October through November and from January through March—with demand clearly concentrated on weekends, which are often booked well in advance; our standard “Overnight Stay with Half Board” rate is the main option during this time. Midweek remains the quietest time at our hotel even during these months—with noticeably lower prices. During the late and off-season (April–September and Advent), you’ll also benefit from seasonal specials with attractive price discounts. With our early-bird offer (book at least 60 days in advance, for stays of three nights or more), you’ll save 10% on the room rate. With our long-stay offer (for stays of six nights or more), you’ll receive a 15% discount. Both offers are valid from October through March—excluding the Advent season, which has its own special offer; from April through September, our seasonal specials provide the discount. Our offers usually include accommodation with half board—with a late riser breakfast and a 4-course evening meal—as well as our inclusive services.
