Arrival / Check-in

• Please note that check-in time is between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Your room will be ready for you from 3:00 PM.
• Please let us know when you expect to arrive on the day of your arrival and whether we can schedule spa treatments for you on the day of your arrival so that you can relax immediately.

• We offer our guests a sufficient number of free parking spaces directly around our hotel. You are welcome to stop briefly in front of the hotel entrance to load and unload your luggage.
• If you arrive before 3:00 p.m. and would like to use the spa area, that's no problem! You can enjoy the spa area from 12:30 p.m. on the day of arrival. In this case, you will receive your wellness bag with a bathrobe, which would normally be waiting for you in your room, at the reception desk. Until your room is ready at 3:00 p.m., you can either store your luggage in your car or we will be happy to take care of it for you. Our spa changing rooms offer plenty of storage space and room to change.
• In the interests of sustainability, we kindly ask you to bring your own slippers.

Angebot "Frühstück am Anreisetag mit früher Spa-Nutzung"

Wenn Sie noch früher in den Genuss unseres Angebots kommen möchten, können Sie gerne unser "Frühstück am Anreisetag mit früher Spa-Nutzung" buchen. Für einen Betrag von 35 € pro Person können Sie bereits ab 08:00 Uhr frühstücken und den Spa-Bereich nutzen. Wir möchten Ihnen damit einen perfekten Start in Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns ermöglichen und freuen uns auf Ihren Besuch.

Angebot "Early Zimmer-Check-in inklusive Frühstück"

Wenn Sie am Anreisetag bereits ab dem Morgen Ihr Zimmer nutzen möchten, bieten wir Ihnen nach Verfügbarkeit gerne unseren "Early Zimmer-Check-in inklusive Frühstück" an. Dadurch können Sie bereits um 08:00 Uhr anreisen, in aller Ruhe frühstücken und direkt Ihr Zimmer beziehen. Für diesen Service berechnen wir einen Betrag von 50 € pro Person. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir Ihnen mit unserem Early-Check-in eine angenehme Anreise ermöglichen können - allerdings ist dieses Angebot nur kurzfristig frühestens zwei Tage vor Anreise auf Anfrage erhältlich.

Angebot "Spa Late-Check-out"

To ensure a relaxing end to your stay, we offer you the option of booking a spa late check-out for an additional charge of €25 per person. This allows you to use the spa area even on your departure day. Changing rooms and lockers are available in the spa area, offering ample storage space.

Angebot "Zimmer Late-Check-out"

If available, you can also book a late check-out until 9:00 p.m. so that you can enjoy your stay with us until the very last moment. Please speak to our friendly staff at the reception desk to find out more. We charge €90 per room for this service.

Applications

Booking & Procedure

• To ensure we can best prepare for your spa experience, we recommend letting us know your treatment preferences well in advance—ideally when you make your room reservation.
• Especially during peak season (fall, winter, and spring), our capacities are often booked up well in advance.
• Applications that are part of an arrangement cannot be exchanged or changed.
• All treatment times stated include pre- and post-treatment rest periods in the treatment room.
• Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the treatment. After that, we charge 50% of the treatment price.

Health & Well-being

• The health of our guests and our spa team is our top priority.
• Please inform us of any relevant health issues such as operations, allergies, or pregnancy before using our services.
• Zu Ihrem Wohlbefinden und zum Schutz aller können Anwendungen nur stattfinden, wenn Sie sich gesund fühlen. Bei ansteckenden Erkrankungen, insbesondere der Haut, oder bei Krankheitssymptomen am Behandlungstag ist eine Durchführung leider nicht möglich. Sagen Sie uns in diesem Fall bitte Bescheid, wir stornieren den Termin für Sie kostenfrei.

Scheduling & Procedure

• We take care of scheduling for you; we will of course take individual requests into account wherever possible.
• If you have a personal preference regarding the person who will be treating you, please let us know before your arrival.
• You will receive your exact application times after your arrival at the hotel.
• Treatments usually take place between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Please come to the Bademantel Bistro shortly before your treatment begins—we'll come and pick you up there personally.

About the applications

bathroom accessories

We are happy to lend you bathrobes and towels. We also offer a selection of stylish bathing accessories for sale in the display case at the spa reception.

accessibility

We place great importance on accessibility in our building plans to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay with us. However, we would like to point out that due to our hillside location and the historical structure of our building, a few rooms are not accessible.

Although the main entrance is not barrier-free, there is a side entrance to the left of the main entrance, which you can use to reach the reception area via a barrier-free elevator. From there, you can access all of our guest rooms, including barrier-free rooms.

Der Weg zum Spa-Bistro, zu den Anwendungsräumen, zum Innenpool und zum Saunabereich ist barrierefrei zugänglich. Leider sind der Fitness- und Kursbereich sowie der Ruhebereich "Zeitlos" nicht barrierefrei zugänglich. Der Einstieg in den Innenpool besteht aus gefliesten Treppenstufen und einem Handlauf, während der Außenpool einen in die Außenwand integrierten, senkrechten Leitereinstieg hat.

Alle Gastronomiebereiche sowie die Terrasse sind barrierefrei zugänglich, mit Ausnahme des Restaurants "Antons".

We warmly welcome you as a day spa guest and look forward to your visit. Please understand that capacity is limited. However, we will do our best to offer you an unforgettable wellness experience.

Electric cars / E-charging stations / Wall boxes

We have six in-house charging stations for our guests with electric cars. The charging current is billed per kilowatt hour (kWh) according to consumption (currently 65 cents) and automatically added to your room bill.

Parking a bicycle or e-bike

Wenn Sie mit dem eigenen Fahrrad oder E-Bike anreisen, können Sie dieses direkt gegenüber dem Hotel in unserem abschließbaren Fahrradraum unterstellen - dort, wo auch unsere Leihräder stehen. Die Nutzung ist kostenfrei. Für E-Bikes stehen vor Ort normale Steckdosen zur Verfügung, an denen Sie Ihren Akku mit dem eigenen Ladegerät aufladen können. Den Zugang zum Raum erhalten Sie über die Rezeption - sprechen Sie uns einfach an, wenn Sie Ihr Rad ein- oder ausräumen möchten.

Nudist, no clothing

Bitte beachten Sie, dass es in unserem Hotel keine Möglichkeit für Freikörperkultur im Sinne von baden oder sich bewegen mit nacktem Körper gibt. Wir bitten unsere Gäste in allen Bereichen - mit Ausnahme des Saunabereichs - angemessene Kleidung zu tragen. Wir danken Ihnen für Ihr Verständnis.

In the recreation room on the same level as our spa bistro in the first basement, you can play table tennis, darts, and foosball free of charge. All the necessary equipment is already there for you, so you can get started right away.

Our extensive breakfast buffet is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, please inform the reception desk in advance.

board games

Our fireplace room is not only a cozy place to relax, but also the perfect place to play some board games. We have a selection of games that you can use free of charge. We only ask that you return the games to the shelf after use so that other guests can enjoy them too.

Groups

We ask for your understanding that we cannot accept large groups (more than 8 people) or bachelor parties.

Gift Certificates

If you would like to redeem a voucher, please present it at reception upon arrival. We will then deduct the voucher value directly from your room bill. Please note that our vouchers are multi-purpose vouchers that can be redeemed for all of our services.

Be careful with vouchers offered on sales platforms such as eBay classifieds! These could be fake and therefore invalid. Nowadays, it is very easy to create a voucher that looks exactly like our genuine online vouchers. The code on your voucher is crucial, as this code is used to check its validity and redeem the voucher amount on your invoice. If you are unsure about the origin of your voucher, simply send us a photo of it in advance and we will check its authenticity.

Half board / 4-course evening menu

We will be happy to automatically reserve a table for you in the restaurant if you have booked half board. Please take your seat between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (last order).

We would like to point out that all areas of our hotel are used at your own risk. Please be particularly careful when wet, as floor coverings and stairs can be slippery. Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for personal injury or property damage. This disclaimer applies to all areas, including the sunbathing lawn, body treatments, massages, cosmetic treatments, sauna, steam bath, infusions, and the use of showers, swimming pools, and whirlpools.

Pets, dog, dogs

Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets are not allowed in the hotel; we kindly ask for your understanding! (PS: We ourselves have a wonderful dog in the owner's family.)

Weddings, celebrations

Wellness is our top priority, which is why we focus exclusively on offering our guests the highest level of relaxation and recreation. For this reason, we do not host weddings, celebrations, large conferences, or other events.

Bachelor party or bachelorette party (JGA)

We want every stay at our hotel to be a pleasant and relaxing experience. For this reason, we cannot host bachelor parties or similar celebrations at our hotel. We understand that this may be disappointing for some, but we want to ensure that all our guests can enjoy a peaceful and restful stay. We ask for your understanding and thank you for your consideration.

Our recreation room in the first basement offers you the opportunity to play a relaxed game of soccer. A foosball table is available for this purpose, and you will find the appropriate balls right next to the game equipment.

Children & Babies

We are a refuge and an oasis of calm with plenty of space to recharge your batteries. We therefore kindly ask for your understanding that guests must be aged 16 or over to stay with us.

loungers

To ensure that all guests can enjoy the wellness area equally, we kindly ask you not to reserve sun loungers by temporarily placing towels on them.

packed lunch

If you are planning an excursion or would like to start your journey home, we are happy to offer you the option of purchasing a delicious packed lunch for a small fee. Please order this in good time at our reception to ensure that we can meet your requirements.

mini-bar

We got rid of the minibars many years ago. Instead, there is a small refrigerator in your room where you will find a complimentary bottle of mineral water. We also offer a wide selection of drinks, snacks, and sweets in our vending machine, which is located on the first floor above the reception desk.

mountain bike

Renting a mountain bike without electric drive costs €19 per tour. We kindly ask you to reserve your bike at least one day in advance to ensure that we can provide you with a bike.

Our goal is for every employee to feel comfortable working for us. Transparent working time regulations are crucial to achieving this. This requires appropriate opening hours.

Parking your car, parking spaces

There are plenty of free parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. You are welcome to stop directly in front of the hotel entrance to load and unload your luggage. Please note that we cannot accept any liability for damage or theft.

smoking

Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel due to applicable state law in North Rhine-Westphalia. Smoking can trigger a fire alarm. Tampering with the fire alarm in your room will immediately trigger an alarm. Failure to comply with the smoking ban may result in significant costs.

We would like to make a recommendation that is very important to us: taking out travel cancellation insurance. After all, no one can predict what will happen before you arrive. An unexpected illness or unforeseen events could mean that you are unable to go on your vacation or have to cut it short. Saunen und Aufguss

Aufgusszeremonien und feste Aufgusszeiten gibt es bei uns nicht - unsere Saunen bleiben Orte der individuellen Ruhe. In den Kabinen stehen Kübel und Kelle bereit; wer mag, gießt für sich mit klarem Wasser auf - bitte sparsam und mit Rücksicht auf die anderen Gäste.

Our wellness area impresses with its warm, minimalist architecture and offers you relaxation and well-being. To enter the spa area, simply use the hotel elevator in the light wing. Sauna towels are available free of charge at the spa reception. In the bathrobe bistro, you can order refreshing drinks, coffee, daily specials, and ice cream. The menu has something for every taste. Tea, mineral water, and apples are also available free of charge. Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Sports

Our region offers a wide range of sporting activities in every season, such as hiking, walking, cycling, climbing, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and much more. Our reception staff will be happy to provide you with information. For sports activities on site, we offer a fitness room and the option of renting bicycles. We also offer a daily changing program of courses, including aqua gymnastics and various yoga classes.

Ab 12:00 Uhr begrüßen wir Sie bei schönem Wetter auf unserer Gastronomieterrasse - zum leichten Mittagessen aus unserer Vesperkarte oder für einen erfrischenden Drink am Nachmittag. Clothing optional / nudism

Nudism in the sense of bathing and exercising naked is not permitted in our establishment and is not welcome. Clothing must be worn in all areas (with the exception of the sauna area, of course).

You can play a game of table tennis in our recreation room on the first basement level of our hotel. The necessary bats and balls are available on site and can be used free of charge.

Rebooking / Changing the travel period

Please note that it is not possible to change or postpone bookings. Once you have made a booking, we guarantee you the room category you have booked at the current rates for the booked travel period. If you wish to change your travel period, you must cancel your existing reservation in accordance with the accepted cancellation policy and make a new reservation.

Intolerances / Allergies

In our kitchen, we work exclusively with fresh and natural ingredients without additives. We are also happy to take your individual dietary requirements into account, such as gluten or lactose intolerance. Please inform us before your arrival so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please note that the transfer of allergens from food to food cannot be ruled out and we therefore cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.

Drying wet bath towels

To dry wet laundry quickly, there is an electric spin dryer in the women's changing area of our spa. This spins your swimwear within a few seconds, removing most of the water.

Water temperature

Our indoor pool is set to a target water temperature of 29°C and our outdoor pool to a target water temperature of 31°C.

hiking

Our hiking trails take you through the unique natural landscape of the Hochsauerland region. We have a selection of maps available at reception for your trip and will be happy to advise you on your individual requirements. Hikes, excursions, etc. organized by the hotel are announced in advance on notice boards at the hotel reception.

room cleaning

• Our cleaning staff are available daily between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to make your room sparkle. However, if you prefer undisturbed privacy, please hang the red sign on your door. This will let our cleaning staff know that they should not enter your room on that day and that cleaning is not required. Please note, however, that cleaning may not be possible on another day.
• Alternatively, you can also use the blue sign to indicate that you do not want cleaning on that day.
