Booking conditions

Please note that it is not possible to change or postpone bookings.

Once you have made a reservation, we guarantee you the room category you have booked at the current day conditions for the booked travel period. If you wish to change your travel period, you must cancel your existing reservation according to the accepted cancellation policy and make a new reservation.

Cancellations must be made in writing in any case; gladly by e-mail to mail@hotel-diedrich.de.

Travel cancellation insurance

We strongly recommend that you have travel cancellation insurance or take out such insurance. No one can predict what will happen between now and your arrival. At any time, an illness or unforeseen event could occur that affects your travel plans.

Please understand that in the event of cancellation, we must act in accordance with our reservation conditions. However, travel cancellation insurance provides you with coverage against financial loss in the event of cancellation or interruption of your vacation due to illness or other unforeseen events.

We recommend that you inform yourself about the products of ERGO Reiseversicherung AG. Travel cancellation insurance is often cheaper than you think and gives you the security to cover unforeseen events.

Standard cancellation conditions

  • Until 15 days before arrival: free cancellation
  • 14 to 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total price of the booked services will be charged
  • 7 days to one day before arrival: 70% of the total price of the booked services will be charged
  • On the day of arrival, in case of no-show or early departure: 100% of the total price of the booked services will be charged.

Exception cancellation conditions

  • Until 29 days before arrival: free cancellation
  • 28 to 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total price of the booked services will be charged
  • 7 days to one day before arrival: 70% of the total price of the booked services will be charged
  • On the day of arrival, in case of no-show or early departure: 100% of the total price of the booked services will be charged.

Note

According to Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament, Article 16, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to hotel bookings. The cancellation conditions of the hotel apply.
