Rooms & Suites

No matter which category you choose, you will enjoy a peaceful, clean stay with great attention to detail—a great place to arrive and take a deep breath.

Room selection: location facing the valley or the street

If peace and quiet is particularly important for your break, we usually recommend a room facing the valley. Rooms facing the street are closer to the B236 road—our windows provide reliable insulation, but traffic noise cannot be completely blocked out during the day. Which location is best for you depends mainly on how sensitive you are to noise.

Daily rates & price advantages

Our room rates are seasonal and demand-dependent daily rates. The earlier you book and the longer you stay, the more attractive your accommodation price will generally be. You can find a clear overview on our offers page.

Frequently asked questions about our rooms

Which room location do you recommend—valley side or street side?

In most cases, we recommend the valley side, because it is noticeably quieter there and you have a view of the countryside. Our house was built more than 125 years ago directly on what is now the B236, which has since become busier. On the street side, you are closer to the hustle and bustle of the house, while on the valley side, you can enjoy more nature, space, and tranquility. If peace and quiet are important to you during your break, the valley side is almost always the right choice.

How noisy are the rooms facing the street?

The rooms are located on the B236, which is busy during the day. Our windows provide reliable insulation, but traffic noise cannot be completely blocked out. Many guests are comfortable with this, but those who are very sensitive to noise are usually better off staying on the valley side.

What are the differences between the room categories?

All rooms follow the same concept: warm materials, clean architecture, and a calm, modern character. The differences lie mainly in size, layout, location, and a few details such as balconies or views. The range extends from compact rooms in the main building to light-filled rooms in the light wing and spacious panoramic suites. On this page, you will find each category with pictures, size specifications, and a detailed description.

What is included in the room rates?

Our prices are seasonal and demand-dependent daily rates. Always included are accommodation in the selected room, breakfast until 11:30 a.m., a multi-course evening meal as part of half-board, use of our four-level spa area, and a wellness bag with bathrobe for your stay. You can find a complete overview under Included Services.

Are your rooms also suitable for solo travelers?

Yes, absolutely. Many solo travelers come to us to consciously recharge their batteries and enjoy some peace and quiet. You can book both single rooms and double rooms for single use. We usually release double rooms for single use at short notice. The most reliable way to check current availability is directly in our online booking system.

Can I reserve my preferred room or a specific room number?

We are happy to take your preferences regarding location, floor, or room style into account. We cannot guarantee specific room numbers, but we will fulfill your requests as often as possible. The earlier you book, the greater the chance that your preferred room will be available.

Are there any differences between the rooms in the main building, the light wing, and the garden wing?

Yes, each area has its own character—all under one roof. The rooms in the main building tell the most about the history of our hotel and are somewhat more compact. The rooms in the light wing are particularly bright, modern, and flooded with light. The garden wing combines spacious floor plans with a quiet valley side. All areas have been carefully renovated and brought up to the same standard of quality – so you are choosing between different styles and atmospheres rather than between "old" and "new."
