Midweek Wellness in the Sauerland: Wellness During the Week

The Midweek Wellness package includes the following per person: two to five weekday nights, a 4-course dinner each evening (half-board), a generous breakfast buffet, and a €40 wellness credit toward a treatment of your choice. In addition, the package includes the standard amenities of every DIEDRICH stay: a four-level spa area, an outdoor infinity pool, a sauna area, yoga and class programs at the “Haus der Mitte,” a wellness bag with a bathrobe, the Sauerland Card, and free Wi-Fi. Not included are beverages, additional spa treatments beyond the credit, and à la carte dishes outside of the half-board plan.

The €40 wellness credit per person is automatically included in the Midweek Package—no extra charge and no separate booking required. It is redeemed as soon as you book a treatment at the hotel: the credit is applied to the treatment price, so you only pay the difference. The credit can be used for any treatment from our treatment menu, ranging from classic massage to Ayurvedic treatments and facials. The credit is valid once per person per stay, is non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Arrival is possible from Sunday through Wednesday, and departure from Tuesday through Friday. This means your stay takes place entirely during the week, offering a price advantage over a weekend stay. Stay duration: 2 to 5 nights, depending on your preference. Those who arrive on Sunday and stay until Friday make the most of this package—vacationers often also opt for Sunday–Wednesday stays. The package is bookable year-round, subject to availability; during the quieter weeks outside of school holidays, the selection of room categories is naturally larger.

During the week, the hotel is less crowded, the spa area is much more relaxed during the day, and the staff at the “Anna Luise” restaurant has more time to devote to each table. Appointments for treatments are more flexible than on weekends, and there is usually a wider selection of room categories available. In terms of content, you’ll experience the same DIEDRICH program as on the weekend—the difference lies in the atmosphere and the price. Midweek wellness is significantly more affordable than a comparable weekend stay, without compromising on the experience.

This package is available year-round, subject to availability. Popular times are spring and fall, when the Sauerland region is in the midst of both hiking and spa season. Cancellations are free of charge up to 15 days before arrival. For a specific availability inquiry, please open our booking system or send us an informal message—especially for shorter stays (2 or 3 nights), it’s worth booking early because these slots fill up faster than the four- to five-night packages.
