We chose this positioning because we wanted to best cater to a specific target audience—and for adults, a wellness vacation means peace and quiet and perhaps leaving everyday life behind for a few days. Children, on the other hand, often love hustle and bustle and play. This creates two distinct sets of needs, and we simply don’t have the resources to fully meet both of them.

Here at our adults-only hotel in North Rhine-Westphalia, your personal relaxation is our top priority. We want your entire vacation to be filled with wonderful wellness moments. Our spacious wellness area, spread across four levels, offers plenty of options. Take a leisurely swim in our two pools. The indoor pool area of our wellness hotel is somewhat reminiscent of a Roman bath and invites you to linger—a swimming pool in an adults-only hotel. From the two sunbathing decks, you can enjoy the view of nature and relax with all your senses. The view from the outdoor infinity pool is even more picturesque. Once you’ve swum to the edge of the pool, you’ll look out over the idyllic Hallenberger Valley and as far as northern Hesse—even though it actually begins just about 1 km from us.

You’ll experience this in a whole new way in our ice room—where it’s winter all year round. In our sauna area, you’ll find heat and temperatures around freezing coexisting in perfect harmony all year round.

For relaxation between sauna sessions, the sauna area features a dedicated relaxation room with an austere ambiance, from which you can gaze up at the sky through the water of the outdoor pool above. The natural movement of the water creates a special atmosphere—no two moments here are alike.

Outside the sauna area, you’ll find the peace and quiet you’re looking for in the “Zeitlos” relaxation room. Here, you really do get the feeling that time stands still. With the gentle chirping of birds in the background, it’s easier to leave everyday life behind, fully tune into the here and now, and relax completely. To ensure you’re perfectly equipped for your wellness getaway, we’ll provide you with a wellness bag containing a bathrobe on loan for the duration of your stay.

Our adults-only concept was born from a simple idea: to create a place where people can truly unwind, free from outside distractions. We deliberately chose a location that caters to the need for tranquility among our adult guests.

Out of consideration for all our guests, we strictly enforce the age limit of 16. This is the only way we can reliably provide the atmosphere that defines our establishment: peace, relaxation, and a mindful environment.

We have deliberately chosen a dog-free policy for our wellness hotel. We want our guests to be able to move about freely in the spa areas and relaxation rooms. In addition, a dog-free environment provides peace of mind for guests with allergies and creates a particularly calm and hygienic atmosphere.

No—on the contrary. We believe that every stage of life requires the right kind of setting. A wellness hotel thrives on tranquility, relaxation, and a rhythm that is good for adults. At the same time, we know from many conversations that children also benefit when parents treat themselves to some time away every now and then and return with renewed energy and a sense of calm. Our concept is therefore not aimed against children—but rather, quite deliberately, at the relaxation of adults.
