What is this about?

Freedom and lightness for every day.

The combination of yoga and meditation is an exceptionally good way to reach a sustainable feeling of lightness and freedom. We get to know a lifestyle that allows us to master every situation in everyday life with peace and serenity. That means an increase in our quality of life!

At the Yoga and meditation retreat we practive gentle, dynamic yoga and different kinds of meditation. We learn to breathe evenly and feel the deepest kind of relaxation – a feeling of liveliness and joie de vivre is the result. We experience the balance tensions and relaxation, between internal and external. We feel life as an inexhaustible inner source of power.

The Yoga is based on the tradition of T.K.V. Desikachar. In the meditiation we use methods according to Osho. A priority is placed on the development of one's own potential.

Monika Bauer, YogalehrerinMonika Bauer, Yoga instructor

"For me, yoga is the basis upon which I shape my own life and with which I would like to accompany others on their life path."

Monika was born in 1965 in the beautiful southern Hessian town of Seligenstadt and started practicing yoga at a young age. The effects of yoga fascinated her and have accompanied her ever since. From 1999 to 2003, she completed the four-year training programm for yoga instructors at the BDY, Berufsverband der Yogalehrenden in Deutschland, e.V. (German association of yoga instructors) and has been teaching yoga in Marburg und Giessen for 15 years.  Further stations for the constant expansion of her yoga practice have also included: Further training in individual lessons with Karen Kold Wagner, Ashtanga-Yoga with Beate Guttandin and further training in "Individual lessons and therapeutic yoga" with R. Sriram. Astrid Klinski has been her personal instructor since 2003. Various other training sessions in the large field of yoga philosophy round off her yoga path.

Samy about Monika: "Monika is an amazingly calming influence. She has impressive body control and balance –  in all of my therapeutic career, I have never seen anything like it before we met. Monika lives for yoga like hardly anyone else.

Rajesh Samy Pillai, Physiotherapeut & HeilpraktikerRajesh Samy Pillai, Physiotherapeut & Heilpraktiker

"Everybody has it ... it simply has to be discovered: Silence and tranquility as a source of power. Meditation is nothing other than a switch for your intellectual faculty –  because that is what keeps us from tranquility."

Rajesh Samy Pillai (called "Samy") was born in 1975 in India. He completed his physical therapy studies in India and received a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in Germany. Samy now has a physical therapy practice in Marburg and is a successful naturopath with a concentration in pain therapy.

He had his first experience with meditation in India in 1992. It was simplified Kundalini Yoga from Yogiraj Vethathiri Maharishi. He learned and practiced this form of yoga until 1999. In 1999, Samy read Osho's first book and was fascinated by its profundity, clarity and intelligence. Since then he has gathered lots of experience which he would like to pass on. Today, Samy helps people to find more intensity, balance and health – physical and mental – far beyond his work as a physical therapist and naturpath.

Monika about Samy: "Samy has a an empathatic way of dealing with people as a meditation teacher and therapist, and a deep understanding of how "we function".  It is fascinating  how he can explain the emotional and mental level of meditation with images from everyday life. He communicates Indian philosophy in a way that it transcends intelectual understanding. I love working with him!"
