Wellness Weekend for Two: 2 Nights at a Four-Level Spa

Your wellness weekend for two begins at the spa after you check into your room. You can swim laps in the 12 × 5-meter columned pool with a view of the valley or spend the day in the 20-meter outdoor infinity pool—heated to 31 °C year-round, with massage jets along the pool’s edge. When the weather changes, the appeal lies in the fact that you can switch between indoors and outdoors at any time.

Five saunas complement the aquatic world: a Finnish sauna, a Swiss stone pine sauna, a panoramic sauna, a Roman sweat bath, and a steam bath. There’s also a snow grotto for cooling off, just like in the Far North. Between sauna sessions, you’ll find yourself in the “Zeitlos” relaxation room—hanging nests, loungers, and dimmed lighting. For those who don’t want to take off their bathrobes: the Bathrobe Bistro serves snacks and drinks throughout the day right in the spa area.

Wellness for Couples: What Your Stay Together Includes

Your stay includes the following per person: two nights’ accommodation, a 4-course dinner each day (half-board), a generous breakfast buffet until 11:30 a.m., as well as the included amenities that apply to every DIEDRICH stay—a four-level spa area, an outdoor infinity pool, a sauna area, yoga and class programs at the “Haus der Mitte,” a wellness bag with a bathrobe, the Sauerland Card, and free Wi-Fi. You choose your own treatments: simply ask the reception desk what would be good for you—for a weekend for two, for example, the light bubble bath and the body wrap on the floating lounger, both available as couples’ treatments. This way, you only pay for what you really want. Drinks with the evening meal and à la carte dishes not included in the half-board plan are also available for an additional charge.

An evening for two: dinner, drinks, and treatments together

Dinner will be served at the “Anna Luise” restaurant. You don’t need to make a reservation; we’ll have a table ready for you. You can choose from several options on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. In addition to the half-board menu, à la carte dishes are also available. You can order a bottle of wine or sparkling wine (for an additional charge) at your table.

Two treatments are especially enjoyable as a couple—simply request them as a couples’ treatment when you book: the Light Bubble Bath in two side-by-side tubs with colored lighting and sparkling wine, and the body wrap with vegan natural cosmetics on two floating loungers in the same room. If you’d like more, combine them with a classic massage or a facial from our treatment menu.

A getaway for two: Hiking, biking, and the Sauerland countryside

If you’d like to get out and about between spa sessions, Hallenberg is right on your doorstep: a historic half-timbered town, peaceful, and easy to explore on a ten-minute walk. From the hotel, signposted hiking and biking trails lead directly into the natural beauty of the Hochsauerland region—to the Heidekopf observation tower, through the Nuhnewiesen nature reserve, and up into the hills of the Rothaar Mountains. Hiking maps and tour suggestions are available at the front desk.

Nearby: Winterberg (15 km north, bike park and ski resort), Willingen (40 minutes by car), and the Diemelsee region.
